preliminary
All streaming feeds limit the number of symbols. QuoteLink adds a a field QUOTA to show if a symbol is within or without the limit. I also shows 'no quota' in the STATUS field when a field is over the limit.
The system works as follows
Symbols within the limits are marked as QUOTA=Yes if you continue to add symbols and the limit is attained. the older symbols will be rejected and marked with STATUS ='no quota' QUOTA='No'. If you manually a set of symbols they will given priority and will come within the limits.
Example your feed lets you use 100 quotes but you have 150. 50 are market as 'no quota' and are stale. If you select these 50 and 'Refresh' them they will begin to refresh while the 50 oldest of the first 100 will be rejected.
For most feeds the quota must be set the Feeds Parameters because the maximum number of symbols is not send automatically by the provider.
IQFeed sends this value so there is no need to set it.
Note that this value can be less than the total amount of symbols available. This can be interesting to reserve the other slots for use by other applications.
